How to host a server in case BOBA dies?

What happens if the so called "BOBA global 7/24 server" with IP 188.134.3.7 dies?
Which files are needed to run a server? Can you run one on Linux?
Playing in newServer.exe (DoAO ALPHA 5.2) seems different to the server we normally play on (I can't speak with NPCs sometimes? And you can level up?!). What about that, is it stable and playable?
Is there a tutorial about this anywhere? This is important to know in the possible event that BOBA shuts down.

Resurrecting this thread for the recent news of DOAOL BOBA possibly shutting down in the future.

17 Февраля ДОА 5 выходит на ПК (есть предзаказ на steam-е)
Если ДОА 5 на ПК будет нормально работать, то, вероятнее всего, этот сервак будет закрыт

It would be good to know how expensive the current server actually is, since it has always been a reliable server. What are the server hardware specifications of BOBA 188.134.3.7? What's the monthly/yearly cost of it? Operating system? etc. etc.

Yeah it finally happened, BOBA died around 31 May 2019.

The server owner never shared his own improved newServer.exe, DOA Online - Battle Test version.

We currently have no working server to play this game on.

Me and a friend tried to follow these instructions to run a new server, but it didn't work, it looked like the server host was offline and the game gave the "unable to login" error every time. Maybe the instructions are outdated and for a different newServer.exe... maybe we're doing something wrong viewtopic.php?f=44&t=635

This is the first post in the last 3 years and I'm probably talking to myself at this point.
